Albie is a true first tween/ teen’s ‘horse’ - suitable for a rider coming off ponies - or a safe horse for an adult amateur. He is competitive, educated, kind and has been around the block - while still young enough to last you, your child (and the next one) for many years.

Albie was purchased by his current family for their 11 year old who has competed with him at Sydney Royal, Ag Shows, state Interschools, pony club, attended clinics, swum him in the dam, ridden him bareback and doubled over the last three years. He is well educated, willing and responsive, soft in the bridle and willingly collects. Albie suits showjumping to 85-90cm.

Albie is very safe, reliable and sensible but with a very nervous, very tense rider, he may be a little tense too. After a spell, Albie can be a tiny bit fresh, but a quick lunge settles him. He can occasionally call out to his friends. 

Albie is easy to catch, lead and handle - for farrier, picking out feet, grooming, hosing and washing; loads into float or truck very easily, and stands quietly when traveling.

Albie is looking for a home with a novice to intermediate rider to show, compete in dressage and jump up to 90cm - he has competed to 105 but may get the odd rail at that height. He never stops and can be relied upon to get around the course safely. Albie is a big, educated and responsive horse so would not suit a nervous, unbalanced or beginner rider.

Albie is sadly for sale as his rider wishes to pursue straight showjumping over 90cm and has a new horse. He is in light work and is currently competing.
