D: Marena Sunline (Cedar Lodge Konrad x Marena Sundance, Sunpuff lines)

Bliss has attended jump club, show jumping competitions, pony club and been schooling 90cm at home and in lessons. She is competing 75-85cm at shows and is frequently in the ribbons! At the August 2024 Tamworth World Cup qualifier she placed 7th in a large class of bigger horses. Bliss is a forward, ‘take the rider to the jump’ type which is very good for the rider’s confidence.

Bliss has all flat work established and is eligible for Newcomers, if you would like to try your hand in the show ring. She has popped over logs, being trail ridden, ridden bareback and handled the antics of all types of riders including beginners.

Bliss is vice and issue free, easy to do everything with. She is safe for children to handle and reliable in all environments. Bliss is not ‘marey’ and not reactive to dogs etc.

Bliss does wear a compression hood for jumping, out of ‘habit’, but generally isn’t a looky pony unless she has had a long spell and is at her first competition for the season. She is a pony that can be affected by feed - if lots of lush grass or being hard fed - some days she will need a five minute lunge before riding or she may be forward, a bit strong or crow hop. Managing her feed will prevent this but she is still safe even if overfed.

Since breaking in, Bliss has been ridden by children and her rider is now 10 years old. She is a safe ‘first pony’ if feed is managed and when ridden at home or competing in show ring classes - she will care for her young child rider - carting them around the farm, going for a gallop or swim in the dam. However, she is a competitive showjumper and would be a second or third pony type in this discipline.

Bliss is looking for her next little rider to build their confidence and conquer their new journey together.
