Patience is a super competitive 10-year-old, Riding Pony mare standing 13.3hh (not officially measured). She has the hardy brumby constitution, nothing phases her and she is low maintenance and easy care. Patience has proven herself, time and again, to be fun, brave, careful and safe!

Education, riding and experience: Over the last four years, Patience has been a fabulous confidence building showjumper for her owner. Patience and her rider have attended countless  jump club, open show jumping competitions, and pony club - with many wins and placings - always coming home with a ribbon or rug!

Patience happily and competitively competes at  90cm or B Grade pony club - she is a ‘take the rider to the jump’ type - which is very good for the rider’s confidence and safety. She doesn’t ever stop or run out.

Patience has all basic flat work established, however this is not her owners preferred discipline and she hasn’t done straight dressage competitions in the last four years.

Patience has competed EVA65 eventing and won. She has also done hacking/ showing at local agricultural shows.

General demeanor under saddle: Patience takes great care of her rider - she happily carts her rider around the farm, is unphased by tractors and livestock, is great on trail rides, going to the beach or for a swim in the dam.

Patience is, however, she is a competitive show jumper. She is ridden in a kimblewick bit and is forward and keen when jumping. Patience is not for unbalanced or nervous riders and would be a second or third pony type in this discipline.

Current workload/ fitness: Patience is currently in light work, ridden 2-3 times a week.

Handling: Patience is well mannered on the ground, easy to catch and saddle - she does put her ears back when you do up the girth - but is all bluff! She is happy and calm when washing, clipping and for the farrier. Patience loads easily onto the float or truck, stands quietly  when traveling and unloads calmly.

Behaviour: Reliable and trustworthy, no vices.

Feeding and management: No special feeding requirements, currency fed hay only.

Medical: No medical issues.

Rider Suitability: Would suit intermediate riders for jumping or a confident novice rider - under instruction - as an allrounder.

Reason for sale: Patience is reluctantly for sale as her owner stopped riding in March due to other interests and commitments.
