I was today years old when I learnt that… some people don’t view the first horse or even the second horse that they view! Some people view 15 or 20 horses and ‘still haven’t found what they’re looking for’… What the?! 

99.9% of the time, we buy the first horse we view!

This is because:

1. Our main criteria is fixed but ‘short’ - for example, brave, scopey careful showjumper that is safe and sound. Anything else is negotiable.

2. We are COMPLETELY honest with the seller about our skills and goals, we also send lots of video to let them assess the possible ‘match’.

3. We do a HUGE amount of background research and investigation. We also make sure that any advise or research is provided by people who aren’t going to benefit from the sale!

4. Our coaches are actively involved in the process prior to viewing and if they have doubts, we don’t view.

We can help you do this too! Save money and time by cutting down the amount of viewings you do and find the perfect horse the first time! 

Back to point number 1 - some things are negotiable and some aren’t. It’s like any friend or partner - some things you can tolerate and some are deal breakers. 

Just make sure the ‘rock you are choosing to die on’ is not something that is insignificant compared to all the wonderful things about the horse.
