Introduction: Yalambis Invictus/ Vic is the quintessential genuine schoolmaster - an absolute delight to ride, handle and compete. Vic was bred and started at Yalambi and was bought by his current owner at 4 years old. Over the last eight years, Vic has proven himself to be a generous and willing horse, who loves jumping. Together they have progressed and succeeded right through to 135 level. He is his owner’s best friend and the apple of her eye.

This sale presents a wonderful opportunity for a buyer to purchase a sound, sane and rideable schoolmaster which will continue to perform at the top levels of the sport for many years to come.

Bloodlines: Vic is beautifully bred - sired by Carpino Z out of Yalambis Allegria.

Conformation: Vic is a wonderful example of the modern performance horse - compact, athletic and refined. His paces display elasticity, power and activity.

Education, riding and experience: Vic loves his job and always gives 100%. He is well established on the flat.

Vic has automatic flying changes and laterals, making him rideable, adjustable and fun to ride.

Vic is currently competing 120-135. He is honest, brave and careful. Vic is willing and responsive which makes him naturally competitive against the clock.

Vic is an absolute stable favourite and is regularly ridden by a variety of stable staff, amateurs and juniors. This variety of riders, as well as his natural kind temperament, proves him to be tolerant of different riders and their varying competence levels. Not matter what the situation, Vic always aims to please.

Vic is currently in full work and competing.

Handling: Vic is patient and well mannered on the ground to catch, groom, saddle, rug, wash, shoe etc. He is very easy to travel in either a float or truck and self loads onto the float. Vic’s owner, a small female has mainly competed and handled Vic alone without issue.

Behaviour: Vic has traveled all over NSW and Victoria. He is happy in big city environments as well as being stabled in basic ag show situations with fireworks at night. He travels well - loads and unloads without fuss and eats and drinks well when away from home.

Vic is sensible and reliable to ride and handle. He does not have any vices but can be a little fresh after a spell. Vic genuinely likes people, attention and being ridden.

Feeding and management: Vic is fed lucerne chaff, equi jewel and soaked teff hay. He is happy to be stabled. Vic has been yarded or paddocked on his own.

Medical history: Vic has EMS which is straight forward to manage through diet. He is correctively shod and given 4cyte and Pentosan as a preventative measure. Vic performs well in a demanding competitive environment - he jumped at 5 days of the recent Australian Titles.

Rider Suitability: Vic would suit a competitive junior, amateur or adult rider - novice under instruction and above - who is looking for a straightforward, kind and competitive horse to move up the show jumping levels.

Reason for sale: Vic is for sale for financial reasons and will only be sold to the very best of long term homes.
