Amber is bred to excel camp drafting, challenge, showing, polocrosse or as an allrounder - she has the bloodlines, conformation, scope and temperament to make it at the top level.

She presents an amazing opportunity to take on such a lovely straight forward young horse, which at rising 3, is already suitable for a capable amateur rider.

Bloodlines: Amber’s was sired by Arakoola Tradition a stallion with the most exceptional temperament and who has excelled in dressage, showing and working equitation. Amber is out of Arakoola Delta who has produced many talented youngsters and is herself a lovely mare.

The success of her sire and siblings suggest that she would excel in working equitation, camp drafting, team  penning, reining, roping etc, mustering/ feed lot  work, pleasure/ trail riding, breeding, dressage/  showing, eventing.

Conformation: Amber has been allowed to mature slowly and, as such, will be sound throughout her competition career. She is a modern, compact and athletic filly, just like her parents. Amber’s conformation has enabled her to take to ‘life under saddle’ with willingness and acceptance.

Education, riding and experience: Amber was broken in at 2 years old. She has been beautifully well started and has an excellent foundation. Amber  works softly and shows a natural ability and willingness to collect. She has been introduced to the polocrosse racquet and was unphased. Amber has been ridden bareback and happily keeps a steady tempo when being ridden on a loose rein. She is quiet when ridden around the farm and down roads.

Current workload/ fitness: Amber is currently spelling. She is safe to ride after and spell and doesn’t need a lot of work to be safe and sensible.

Handling: Amber is sensible to handle - catch, groom, saddle, wash, float and for the farrier. She loads and travels well.

Behaviour: Amber is green but vice free and sensible under saddle. She is a calm and lovely filly who willing accepts new challenges both in the saddle and on the ground.

Feeding and management: Amber does not require any specific feeding or management.

Medical history: Amber does not have any medical issues and has not shown any lameness or pain during breaking and her early education, that would be suggestive of any issues. Amber has a small, flat, thin scar on her hind leg, photos are in her portfolio. This scar has not affected her in any way.

Rider Suitability: Amber requires a competent and capable rider due to her age, size and level of education. She is sensible enough for a teenager or amateur to bring on under supervision.

Reason for sale: Amber is for sale on behalf of her owner due to impending divorce. As such she is priced for a quick and straightforward sale - at less than the cost of producing her to this point - purchasing her from the stud and breaking her in.

With Amber’s intelligence, talent, and willingness to please, she is perfect for someone looking to bring on a lovely, uncomplicated young horse.
