Bloodlines: Riverton Kesco is by Tulara Colmar out of Oaks Kestrel.

Tulara Colmar is a stunning bay 16.1hh holsteiner stallion who has competed to 160. His international, proven bloodlines need no introduction. Sired by COLMAN - one of Germany's leading stallions and son of international showjumping sensation CATHARGO. Dam's sire QUINAR, son of QUIDAM DE REVEL which includes a double cross of CONTENDER on her dams side and a double cross of ALME on her sires side.

Bred to jump and showing potential to match - he has competed to 160 and has attracted a lot of attention from top level showjumpers and has an increasing number of fans. He is talented, extremely trainable and has amazing balance, movement and technique. Harry is a pleasure to handle and a gentleman in every way, he is extremely personable and well socialised.

Oaks Kestrel by KANNAN (IFS) out of OAKS CINDERELLA (Centus (IFS)). Oaks Kestrel scored a whopping 91.43% making her = second highest scoring horse across all ages and divisions on the 2015 AWHA assessment tour! She is an outstanding Young Rider horse competing to 135 in 2024.

Oaks Kestrel competed kindly and consistently in the 2024 Stal Tops Australian Young Rider Series with Sienna Holdsworth-Rose. Half-way through its four Leg season, they led the way, three points clear of the second placed combinations. At the end of the series they placed 4th overall ahead of very experienced and international horses.

Sparky’s sire and dam have clearly passed their talent and temperament down to their lovely son, who is showing all the signs of becoming a fabulous top level showjumper!

Conformation: Sparky is a wonderful example of the modern performance horse - compact, athletic and refined. His paces display elasticity, power and activity suitable to progress up the levels.

Education, riding and experience: Sparky is well educated on the flat. He has automatic flying changes making him rideable and adjustable on course.

Sparky is currently competing 120-125, predominantly with female riders. He has always been willing and responsive. Sparky is now proving himself to be brave, honest and careful around the course.

Sparky is currently in work and competing.

Handling: Sparky is loved by everyone he meets. He is reliable and kind which means he can be handled by anyone. Sparky is patient and well mannered on the ground to rug, wash, shoe etc. He is very easy to travel in a float or truck. Sparky can be caught and handled by juniors. He stands quietly for the farrier and vet or to be clipped.

Behaviour: Sparky has traveled all over NSW. He is happy in big city show environments as well as being stabled in basic ag show situations with fireworks every night. He travels well - loads and unloads without fuss and eats and drinks well when away from home. Sparky does not have any vices and is not at all ‘matey’.

Feeding and management: Sparky does not have any special feeding or management requirements. Sparky is happy to be stabled, yarded or paddocked on his own or in a herd situation.

Medical history: Sparky does not have any medical issues. he is injury free and issue free.

Rider Suitability: Sparky would suit a capable, confident and  competitive junior or adult rider who is looking for a straightforward and competitive horse to compete and progress through the levels. He is also talented enough to suit a professional to progress through to World Cup qualifiers and Grand Prix classes.

Reason for sale: Sparky is for sale due to his owner’s lack of time. His owner has many young horses and client’s horses to compete, so he isn’t getting the competition time that he deserves.
